Face [the] Music

The man next to me in Starbuck’s plays the violin. I play the human instrument, one face at a time, each sadder than the last. I press each one with a smile and (rarely) strike a chord. Each one isolated inside a little key. Press it to release the music: sometimes bad, sometimes good. Always human.
