A Formless Field of Benefaction . . .

It’s lovely to think that we have a lake in Arizona named “Havasu”. In modern Turkish, that means “AirWater”. When I turn a gassho gesture on its side, I think of that word: “havasu”.

±30,000 years ago, people came from Mongolia (where Turkish originated) to Siberia to Alaska to Arizona just to give that lake the best name it could possibly have!
