. . . And then there’s Debra Messing screaming at Susan Sarandon:

  1. “. . . the water you properted to care about . . .”
    (Purportedly there are online dictionaries you can check for spelling!)
  2. She also spells “gerrymandering” as “jerrymandering“–it’s named for Elbridge Gerry plus “salamander,” the shape formed by remapping an election district while Gerry was governor of Massachusetts.

And oh yeah: why do people think “quash” and “squash” are the same verb???
