Christmas Décor 2014 (I’ve gone nuts!)

This crèche is my first scissors project: my grandmother bought it for me in Woolworth’s. The illustrator is Helen Sewell, ©1948. Very ’40s! (And, to the right of the crèche, a card from Pat Persaud in the 1970s).

The “Nancy” stocking (at right) was made for me by my grandma Hoffmann.
(I have no idea what the chicken represents!)

About Nancy

Nancy Hoffmann began studying Zen Buddhism in 1992 and has dedicated this site to meditating on what she sees and believes. She is not averse to sharing laughter as well.

  1. Klockmann, Axel says:

Really great what you did! In our childhood, with my brother, my mother has always crafted Christmas decorations for the Christmas tree and the tables with us. But now this is unfortunately over since she is living in the retirement home in Frankfurt. But on Christmas eve I will celebrate this with my mother with my brother family in their home.
