Here’s what I’m thankful for!

Great friends who also happen to be VERY good chefs! Below is “gallery” showing some of the food we gave thanks for — and then regretted for a while, as we ate too much.

TheChefThis is Jason, about to photograph the two boneless turkeys he stuffed and baked. His background as a butcher sure came in handy! What a fabulous meal!

Wish I had a good photo of his wife, Sasha, but she’s resistant . . .

In addition, we had pecan and pumpkin pies (plus ice cream and real whipped cream); (very!) brandied cranberry sauce; purple, yellow and orange carrots; stuffing with sausage, bacon, apples and (the kitchen sink?); and apple “grog”. This was followed by a delightful viewing of “Moonstruck” and “When Harry Met Sally”: you’d think we’d never seen these before, we had so much fun watching!

How lucky can anyone be? I feel very spoiled!
